I have a customer who wants some footage digitized and then output as an .avi so he can do some editing on his computer. My guess is to use the Microsoft AVI setting as opposed to the Matrox AVI (or MS DV AVI), but which compressor should I be using? There are many choices here, but I need to know which is the most widely distributed. Any help, guys? TIA.
