I know this isn't much to most of you, but I've been avoiding doing any authoring like the plague. I have 4 realtime DVD recorders, so do all my transfers that way. But, since I finally got a system that had a Pioneer burner in it, I decided I'd give it a try. Probably the biggest problem for me was getting my video file into the correct format for the authoring program (I used DVDit, since it was already installed). The first time I saved it as the MPEG 2-IBP, it wasn't acceptable. Saved it again with the same settings and it was. Took me a while to figure out how to do the menus, etc, but it burned with no problem. So, now I'm officially in the club! Would certainly appreciate any tips, hints or resources people would like to share.
