I am just getting my head around this, so I hope I make sense. I installed matrox rt2000 using 3.1 drivers etc. works perfectly well. I can take my analog vhs tape in to my computer and edit it in premiere 6.5. I can even take it out to vhs or dvd after finishing with editing etc. I wish to use the sonic mydvd to put chapter points and menus, but when I load up the sonic, put my tape in to my vcr I get as far as the screen which says " diect to dvd". when I hit the next button I get the message " Windows could not load the installer for Tape control.How I imagine it, with my limited experience is that my matrox capture card is great at accessing premiere and the matrox editing facility so perhaps I need another capture card, but where do I put it? Can anyone help? I would like someone to answer and many thanks in anticipation of an early reply, Harry. ps. my specs are quite good for the computer
