Posted by Dayspring Just to follow up on this, this is a great idea for the RT2000. I used to do a number of photo-montage types with my RT2000, and the best thing in the world that I could do was convert them all to single-frame AVIs as mentioned here. The great thing is that Premiere seems to treat single frame AVIs the same way as it treats images, and you can give them a duration on import and stretch them to whatever size you need. Definately the way to go, and you can avoid rendering every transition. Another thing to consider using with Premiere is to check out the storyboard mode. It was a great time saver!
