I'm an original registered user from back in 2000. Using my RT2000 on an Intel P4 2ghz with 1g RAM os Windows XP Pro. Of course I had to install Premiere 6.0 before installing MTV3.1b. Flew without a hitch.
Now my QUESTION:
On this same system I have Premiere Pro CS3 installed and working great (I can even export to Matrox DV/DVCAM). I have copied all the required plugins from 6.0 to CS3 and they read. I have copied all the required presets from 6.0 to CS3 (to: Settings/Matrox).
Now the OLD preset files are .prs I assume for "Premiere Settings". The NEW CS3 preset files are .prpreset and when examined with notepad are "XML 1.0 format and saved as UTF-8", they are quite lengthy (13kb).
WHY can't some Genius out there convert and or write new .prpreset files so that Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 will have access to the RT200 and RT2500 hardware for REAL TIME EDITING?!
I recall some time ago seeking out an application that someone wrote to capture still frames using a stand-alone app and your RT2K hardware. Where is that guy today? How can we convince him to spend his weekends writing code for a handful of dedicated RT2K users!
POST COMMENTS and maybe we will arouse him from the depths of cyberspace!
