Your family names have numerous links to Cherokee Nation throughout traceable history, as do Bentley and Collins and Collinsworth. The Sizemores and Tacketts help run Cherokee Nation to this day, today. Tackeytown was and is in southeast Kentucky, Harlan County. See other postings about Sizemore links to Size Rock, KY and other areas and Cherokee Nation. The Collins family appears in our Redbird Band family photo links, with Levy Collins, in a 1905-1910 era photo with Cherokee Pipe near his feet, around Hindman and Hazard. He may be of interest to you. There are Collinsworth names in the Carolinas in the Eurocolonial era, and Collins or Collinsworth town, NC; and the herb Collins or Cullins. Names often have mutiple origins. Many names have herbal links. Collins is one of them. So is Cuma, linked to the herb Curcuma as an example. Words and names often have multiple origins. You have numerous Eurocolonial era Cherokee Tribe links.
