Native American Descent

I was just wondering if anyone has had any success joining the Cherokee or Creek tribes. I have traced my lineage back to Goldenhawk but I have discovered that an ancestor had to sign either the Dawes Roll or the Baker Roll in order to enroll. These signings occurred around 1900, so Goldenhawk would have been deceased. If there is any chance of enrollment one of his offspring must have signed one of the rolls. Any help is appreciated.
