Posted by Shannon Morris I am a 3rd great-grandson of George Golden Hawk Sizemore...descended from his daughter Winnifred (Winnie) Sizemore, who was his child by Aletha Goodman. I believe that one of Winifred's sisters was a Rhoda (or it may have been her niece...i'm not sure, because I am just beginning my research), so either way that would make us cousins somewhere back in there. Look on the Floyd County Kentucky sites for more info., as that is where Golden Hawk lived. I believe that George All Sizemore (full name: George Of All Sizemore) was Golden Hawk's father and Black Hawk Sizemore was one of Golden Hawk's many sons (Golden Hawk had about 55 kids by around 10 different women, so we have alot of cousins out there). If you are related to Rhoda, then we are definitely different branches of the same line. Look up also anything you can find on the Morris family in Floyd County, as my great-grandmother (Susanah Morris) married John Wes Morris and she was the grand-daughter of Golden Hawk. --Previous Message--
