Do Hull have an obligation to buy? Or will he be back with us next year?

Look like sub over the last games so doubt they will sign him

Agreed. Suspect he will be back unless we take a silly offer which for our record signing and a player with undoubted quality in the Championship seems ludicrous.

Regardless of whether he has settled or not we cannot give him away to a direct competitor.

I am more concerned at the number of players we have in the squad who have only played 10-20 games a season because of injuries. As we know we also have some who haven't been available for virtually the whole season, and one who has failed to play at all. Big questions over initial medicals, physiotherapy and sports science departments. I think next season will see an increase in fit, strong, foreign players, who can be purchased for much less than English championship players, and who can play 35+ games, if they are good enough.

Ooh, fit, strong foreign players sounds so sexy, not like these British weaklings.

Don't forget season before last. We also had a chronic injury spate so there's obviously something that perhaps needs looking at ?

Hardly a disaster out of - what - 10 new signings?

Burnley spaffed four times what we spent on Giles on a keeper significantly worse than what they already had.

Problem is. when your spending the limited amount we have to,we've spent half the budget on those 2 plus Andersen who's hardly contributed

In this case, we should have kept Giles. At least he had played football before.

Had pace and hell of a cross - not quite sure why it didn’t work

He had a bit of pace running goalward, but a lot less running back to defend.

He actually had no pace. How did you see him cross as he always went backwards with the ball?

                              He can’t defend for toffee.

Boro fans said the same thing.

Left midfield is a poss I guess but not wingback.
