MoTD just showed a stat that has Fulham 3rd worst team for losing possession in their own first third. We need to press them hard in that area then.

Townsend needs to start then. He was one of best, hardest working players at the start of 2024 and was insrumental inntbe better performances.

Last season there was a merit payment depending on where clubs finished in the league. If Burnley finish above us, ours will decrease from £9.3m to £6.2m, assuming that the merit payments are the same this season. That £3.1m difference is not small beer for a club our size.
