The need to be up for it tonight doesn't have to be explained does it. We need an intimidating atmosphere pre match. Sunderland last season was such an atmosphere I refer to. Pre match Sunderland players were visibly unnerved to what they walked into, some were shaking as they came off the pitch. It was at that point we had won the game to come. We need this again tonight. I don't understand why then, there is a need for light show just before kick off. In my opinion that is the last thing we bloody need. I take it will have music blasting out which is just going to do the opposite for what we need. Sorry wrong game for this.

atmosphere's been naff all season. Sunderland was a one-off.
lightshow will be prob me a max 160 seconds of your life. sure people can still chant and sing over it anyway.
no harm in the club at least trying to do something.

Common enemy tonight is Everton (and the officials) - not sniping at MC, Players, Lights, each other - make the most of it

With the Sunderland players, do you not think most of the reason for their nerves was that they were 2 games away from the PL and it was the biggest game of their careers for probably all of them. Not really the same for Everton is it?

All im saying this isn't the game to do it, there is too much riding on it. If you want a hostile environment then a light show isnt the way to do it.
