No chance he will play again it seems. He has had a great career and been a brilliant servant to the club, particularly between April to the end of the season last year. Hope he becomes a coach with us but fair play to him if he wants to focus on punditry instead.

I hope he has a long and happy life and gets to do what matters to him and his physical and mental health remain good.
I am over sensitive as I've been through a Cardiac Arrest and while I physically felt OK quite quickly, mental health was tough for a few years.
He owes us nothing.

Don't let them get under your skin T. Tom deserves all the luck in the world from now on. Maybe one day LTFC coach, or even manager

He’s 30 and just become a father. I expect that he will be paid out by insurance as a Premier League captain, in Wales squad and his stock/salary is never going to get bigger than that as a footballer. It’s a no brainer for me regardless of whether he is able to play on or not. He will always be a big part of our journey.

I think as a future team manager, he could well out-earn his playing days. Ditto if he was to replace big-ears on MOTD at some point.

Not actually sure going Into management be any good for his heart. Better off coaching and a bit of media work

Would not be surprised to see him coaching in the academy next season
