Before yesterday game I thought if we win we had a really good chance of staying up and I was looking all the premonitions of the Everton v Forest , and while the lads have been fantastic this season and have showed great passion and fight, I honestly felt after yesterday’s game we looked a tired and spent force and no matter of what Everton or Forest do we just are not capable of taking advantage, maybe it’s just me but I feel our fate is sealed, now everyone can slag me off but there won’t be any reply’s from me because I have given an honest assessment. It was clear yesterday that we weren't playing with the same level of intensity that we were earlier this season.
That is not intended as a criticism of the players or management. The team have giving everything but they are looking tired an undoubtedly some are carrying knocks. It was great to see players returning but it will take them time to get up to speed.
I look at the Arsenal home game where we showed huge intensity and then really kicked on after that. Unfortunately, we are not at that level at the moment. As an example, for the first goal, Mbeumo picks up the ball in acres of space and has time to get his head up and play a lovely pass to Wissa. A few months ago we would have closed that space down immediately.
The fact we aren't closing down as quickly as before means our defence is far more exposed than previously. We have good defenders but none of them have Prem league experience, that is beginning to tell.
I think also, the reduced intensity feeds into the crowd. Yesterday was pretty quiet compared to some of the games earlier this season, even at nil nil.

I agree with you on how we looked yesterday.
But I think this team has bounced back enough times not to be simply written off like that.
