Simply done, a league wide boycott by fans of all FA Cup games, with attendance concentrated on the League Cup to ensure all games are sold out.

Totally agree. GS comes across as very much liking the sound of his own voice nowadays yet has remained silent on this. Very disappointing. We've basically become another cog in the cesspit that is modern football.

Days like this will be lost - I was in the front row of the Bobbers. Great day.

Speaking as a finalist club, it’s a great occasion.
You lot will never play in an fa cup final .

No wooden shed stadiums allowed 😁.

A pleasant town you have 😁😁😁

Two faced is what happens when you get a promotion at work and start implementing the management policies you used to complain about. Money buys the second face!

So what would you do? Refuse the promotion or get fired for not implementing the policies?

            Just wondering.

I'm just wondering if you truly know what you are suggesting?

Should we really forget everything we supposedly stand for, forget where we have come from, just so we can belong to a certain club/organisation?

I only asked a question. And it's a valid one.

You seem to have in mind a particularly extreme example if that promotion meant forgetting everything you suggest. That's quite out there.

And it's not "just" so that you can belong to a club, it may make a huge difference to you, your partner and quite likely your children's life chances. And that isn't an extreme example is it?

...I agree - but wonder if clubs are restricted on coming out with statements about league decisions (whether or not it was something that was voted on). When things are voted on I think we rarely hear, from the clubs, who voted what way.

This is perhaps why when you do get comment it's only some 'on the fence' response by a manager in a pre- or post-game press conference?

When (if) Luton do comment it will probably be in a way that doesn't express a strong opinion (even though they might have one).

It's been agreed on out behalf. There isn't anything we can say as a public statement because in back and white the Premier League Clubs as a collective (including Luton) have agreed the change with the FA.

Probably why all of the PL managers comments I've seen basically read the same . . .

"yeah, shame for the lower leagues . . but teams in Europe need fewer domestic games . . yada yada yada"

hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil . . . where would Luton be now if that had been the call 20+ years ago

If we are truly being "bullied" into silence then isn't that the time to stand up for what you believe?
