LLSC join many other clubs and organisations in sharing our dismay at the news of further dilution of the worlds best regarded cup competition by the FA and PL, seemingly without consultation of those outside of this disconnected bubble.
At a time when finances in football are grotesquely unbalanced for the benefit of the few, we should remember that for many the magic of the FA Cup and a replay can be the difference quite literally between existence and not. It wasn’t so long ago that a third round replay helped keep our club afloat whilst we were entering a new dawn.
LLSC would urge those involved to revisit this plan, and engage in meaningful dialogue with those involved.
The FA Cup is for the many, not the few!

If they had said the no replay rules do not start until the third round one might understand, but from Round One, with none of the Premier League clubs involved, plain crazy. Speak up Mr Sweet. Plenty of brownie points.
