Saturday and This Season

Looking forward to another trip to Kenilworth Road on Saturday (my last trip was the midweek 2-0 defeat in the championship, last set of games with supporters before the covid shutdown (if I remember correctly), had many an eventful day out there (the FA cup win, the game you came back from 2-0 down to beat us 4-2 and secure promotion to name a couple)… never thought in those days we’d be playing as a premier league fixture.
Clearly want to win on Saturday but beyond that really hoping you stay up and send one of Forest or Everton down (shame they can’t both go down and take their cheating, self pity and entitled fanbases with them)!
As much as the fans of the big club hate having smaller or unfashionable clubs like us in ‘their’ league, proper fans know that the league is better having teams that play different ways (we’re both called long ball or ‘overly physical’) and in smaller stadiums primarily supported by locals (not over excited tourists filming themselves watching games on the internet).
Surprisingly Chelsea doing their bit this evening too.
2-0 is my recollection but could well be wrong, just remember turning up having beaten Sheffield Wednesday 5-0 at home the Saturday before so everyone being full of confidence and then getting well beat and creating nothing all evening.
