    Some outlets reporting Barkley could be go to Man Utd on a free at the end of the season I always believed we had signed Barkley on a 3 year I might be wrong.

      He will have a release clause for sure. Probably something like 5 million I would guess (which is basically free for Man Utd, though would be the biggest transfer fee we have ever got)

        Rob Edwards previously said during a press conference that his contract length was MORE than a year but less than four

            No doubting that he's having a great season, his confidence is up, he's loving the playing time he's getting, and that shows in his performances and the media attention.

            However, if he moved to a 'bigger' PL club for a measly £5 million (or even £20 million) would he have the same experience or be reduced to second (or third) fiddle in a large squad of 'top class' established players?

            Yes he wants to continue (and do well) in the PL, but there's a mental/attitude difference between being paid a fortune to sit on a bench or being paid handsomely to actually play the game he loves.
