Football League have always been quite draconian.
Nick De Marco has represented a range of clubs vs them but he has merely reduced the punishment a bit.

I think the League appealed and won to send Macclesfield down. Post season.
They also appealed with 1 success and 2 unsuccess vs Birmingham, Derby and Bolton. Couldn't see the Premier League appealing personally.

Clubs obviously value his services because although he keeps "losing" (but as you say achieving some success in reductions) they keep hiring him.

Well Derby got well and truly battered in the end.
They kicked the can down the road but the EFL got them- a big gamechanger there was the Indepedent Panel ruling Derby Accoints invalid. That meant a full embargo under full EFL supervision, until such time as the Accounts were redone to show prior breaches (they would've brrwchrd anyway but in different years).
He represented Sheffield Wednesday but they still went down. Sentence was halved on EFL, some EFL errors too in not prioritising the Stadium case over the Personal Charges order wise otherwise relegation in 2019-20 probably.

Sheffield United to be deducted 2 points next time they are in the Championship for defaulting on transfer payments to other clubs during their promotion season last season.

It might be worth earmarking a points deduction for Watfraud the next time they are in L1, as it's imminent.
