Overtaking Forest is the goal: end of season run-in

Posted by Highland Hatter on 7/4/2024, 10:31:31

Think Forest will beat Wolves at home then draw away to Everton, Sheff United and Burnley, giving them 6 more points.

Assuming they get 0 points back on appeal.

Everton’s run-in is better, as is Brentford’s run-in, so 2 wins and 1 draw, may work, but realistically, winning all 3 of our remaining home games finishing on 34 points, will be enough to keep us up. And that’s without the need to grab a draw at Wolves or West Ham which is of course, also possible. Burnley now out, thankfully.

    COYFH!

Palace could struggle - every team they play has something to play for.

May well be wishful thinking - but I know 2 season ticket holders at work - both fear relegation

If Forest don’t get any points back and Everton get another 4 deducted I think 2 wins and a draw will probably be enough, as long as we don’t lose to Everton. 3 wins would give us an excellent chance.
