Those of us of a certain vintage will remember getting relegated in 1992. We all thought we could bounce back within a year or two. But it took thirty years. Enjoy the top flight whilst we can. But let's also hope the journey continues next season too.

Even if we go down it's been one hell of a season. I was at Notts County 92 and felt at the time it will be a long time before we get back, maybe not as long as it took though. The club is in a completely different state of health now. There are exciting times ahead. If we go down I'm convinced we'll return reasonably quickly, wiser, richer for the experience and better prepared to stay up.

Was at NC in 1992. My mum got killed in a RTA a couple of months before on the way to work, so suffice to say 1992 was a pretty s##t year all round. Just remember walking out of Meadow Lane feeling so sad, for both the loss of my beautiful mum and the way we just "surrendered" our place in the top flight. Must admit I didn't think we would be back anytime soon, but no-one could have forseen the devastation that was to come. Lost my brother 10 years ago to cancer - he knew his diagnosis was terminal and I remember he was just so, so grateful to see us get back into the EFL. So we may go down this year, (maybe not), but here I am looking forward to meeting up with my mates tomorrow to go see my wonderful, wonderful team at Spurs. My bro will be with me at the game, and my mum will be telling me to behave myself as I go out the door. So yeah, I am absolutely loving this season - I so wish my bro in particular could have seen it with me. But all I would say to everyone is drink it in - it really is quite unbelieveable just what our team has achieved these last 10 years - we are living through a golden period for our club and long may that continue.
