Hardly. You got picked up on, by me,for saying we'd 'thrown away points'. The subhead says 'dropped, not thrown away, and if you'd bothered to read the article you'd have seen that Andros doesn't say that anyhow.

Just semantics there mate. I then clarified it's a phrase that has been widely used for as long as I can remember, and I said it's frustrating because we could be so much better off, much like Mr Townsend said here

It isn't just semantics at all.
'thrown away' is emotive language that expresses something quite different and either you used it meaningfully or your grasp of how basic communication works is remarkably poor.
I agree with the sentiment of what both you and Andros are saying of course, but suspect that yet again you were trying to be edgy, followed up by another of those false claims about what has and hasn't been said that are unfortunately a long standing trademark of your posts. Often followed by a huff when picked up on it.

As I said at the time...thrown away has been used to describe losing points from winning positions, particularly when up by multiple goals, for as long as I can remember
