Good listen remember being a youngster when it happened.

Incredible the career Telfer went on to have - solid player.

Shame it wasn't asked what Darren got up to after his playing career was ended? I vaguely remember him being around a few local clubs in coaching, and was often in Storage on Chapel Street (Is that place long gone?)

Darren did always come across as a right strong character

      Cheers

I saw him regularly and spoke to the boy in Harpenden gym after the accident. He showed me his leg with a massive chunk of bone missing and he was lucky not to lose it below the knee.

Such a shame what happened to him. We had a whole bunch of good youngsters come through then and he quite possibly could of been the best.
Looked like a real classy centre back

Had Cyrille Regis in his pocket on debut v. Villa.

Less than a year later he limped around the pitch. What an emotional moment that was.
