Notts forest are owned by an individual who has had perpetual allegations of Match fixing and corruption throughout his involvement in football.
In this instance he ignored the rules - he cheated on the assumption that the FA wouldn’t do anything about it or (to be kind) that the gain would be greater than the punishment.
Taking off a few points with the run of games they’ve got coming up would be a scandal. I don’t even understand why there’s a debate - it seems to me that they are in negotiation, which is utterly gutless on the FAs part.
