    Will it mean that the large clubs will be allowed to run a bigger loss than the smaller ones? If that's the case then it really is not a credible competition anymore.

      It's a percentage of turnover. Nothing really has changed. Allowed to lose £105 million over 3 years also depends on income reducing losses.

      It could be worse like Spain where individual TV contracts so Barcelona and Real Madrid get all the money and very little goes to the teams to be beaten.

      The big teams want no relegation just like American franchises.

            Certainly part of it. Hopefully, (likely?) the same would happen with a breakaway, rich boys toy.
            The other thing with college would be the loyalty of the alumni and local population. Again, that transfers to locals who don't want to travel away from their town to be ripped off.
