    Last few weeks

Been about as tough as they can be - playing some of the best teams in Europe with half our first team squad missing plus throw in the roller coaster of us being "certain the stay up" (after the Brighton game) and then the massive bad day at the office come down against Sheff Utd.

The way I see it these games must have been a massive learning experience for the players and manager...and despite it all we are still in touch to stay in this league.

Best case scenario now is that we use that learning plus some returning players to go on a run with some "winnable" games coming up.

We are not learning at all and are making the same mistakes over and over, especially giving the ball away 40 yards out. Also they had one free header which was missed five minutes later same thing and it in the onion bag. So frustrating.

Problem is. We aren’t learning are we. Winner yesterday carbon copy of Liverpool’s equaliser months ago where in the last minute we’ve let a midget go unchallenged to win a header. 3 poor goals conceded yesterday again.
I wonder how many knocks this team can take now to be honest.

          Kabore just looked fucking knackered.
When you're that tired, you can switch off.
If you've played football at any level, you know that.
Not excusing it, as it cost us a massive point, but it is what it is, players are human and he's not played much football in the. last month.

Agree that it must be emotionally draining for the players to keep getting into matches and then losing late on, however what appear to be our two main ‘survival rivals’ are also suffering similarly. Forest were in total melt down mode after liverpools late late winner and Everton spunked a lead against 10 men vs Brighton and then the 2 late ones vs West Ham (2 teams with questionable form too!) the fat lady may well be warming up but she ain’t singing just yet

Yes. Mentally it must be completely draining.

Agreed, apart from the fact that Sheffield utd was also "winnable".

                Not learning?
                Really?
I'd say the team that played yesterday, with all the injuries and disruptions had learned an awful lot since that opening day shambles at Brighton.
Also , judging by position and goal difference, I'd say we've learned a lot more than the two teams that came up above us, and spent a bloody sight more in the close season.
We new at the start wed get a few hidings. Fortunately the only bad one was in the cup
How many said on here that finishing 17th would be job done? That target is far from out of sight.
