The PL over rated?

Obviously it's our first season buy it does seem all about pace and power. There doesn't seem players with the skill that the likes of Bergkamp, Ronaldo, Henry, Asprilla, Okacha showed. I don't think I've watched one opposition player yet and thought 'wow'. It's all a bit disappointing really.

Kind of Agree, was having this conversation on the long cold journey up to Bolton last week.
The premier league seems to be passing us by, home games feel exactly the same (not sure what I was expecting) or maybe because we are yet to be well beaten.
Even the 2 bigger away days we've had against Chelsea and Man U haven't filled me with a sense of excitement or nostalgia I thought it would.
Maybe I should try a game sober and not spend majority in concourses to combat this!

I think to an extent the technical levels of everyone else has risen and so more players have the skills of someone like Bergkamp. He stood out in an era when he was playing against people like Rob Lee and Steve Staunton every week. Now it's taken for granted that players can bring a long ball completely under control with their first touch etc.
I think against Brighton and Chelsea you could really see the technical gap between them and ourselves, but our players have quickly risen to the level magnificently.
Fodens ability is unquestionable,thought he was really clever when he played against us, he let's himself down by falling over trying to con the ref into giving fouls. But he is not alone on that criticism in this division.
