I am assuming you already have sky, if so

Get your dad hooked up with a quick fibre provider.

By a second hand xbox one and down load the sky app onto it

Via the sky go app log on to your sky acount, you will need yoyr user name and pass word,

Your dad will then have acess free of charge to all the channels on your current package, with out interfeering with what you watch

If he has a good internet connection.
          Take a look at IPTV.
He can watch every town game live.

You can watch every championship game live.
Last season I watched about 5 or 6 from league one.

Get wifi independently then get iptv sorted.
                Costs me 70 a year.
He will need a smart tv also.
