    When was that ?

Posted by The Outsider on 14/5/2019, 10:28:21

NOEL GALLAGHER celebrated his beloved Manchester City winning the Premier League on Sunday by joining them in their changing room and performing Wonderwall.

Footage shows him treating the squad and backroom staff to the ‘private gig’ after they pipped rivals Liverpool to the title by a single point.

Afterwards, Gallagher, 51, stuck the boot into Liverpool, who are in the Champions League final next month.

He said: ‘I can laugh. Of course I can! When they knocked us out of the Champions League it was like, “Alright, have your moment”.’

I was thinking the other day, which Luton fan you know is on the current longest run without missing a game? surely you've got to be up there?

Probably not - missed Chester away in November 2013 as Mrs Outsider had an emergency eye operation at Moorfields that day after going blind a few weeks earlier. Prior to that, in league games, it was Steve Howard's debut at Peterborough in March 2001.

I would think that I can probably claim to have gone longer without missing a league win than anyone else - the last one that I missed was the 7-1 over Charlton on 3 September 1977.

Didn’t the Chester results get wiped off? So it doesn’t count as a miss!!

That Chester match was a 1-1 draw. Andre Gray scored for us, Gareth Seddon for them. Seddon had previously played in the 2012 end of season Fleetwood match alongside Jamie Vardy.

After Chester he joined Salford City and featured prominently in the" Class of 92" TV series. A part-time male model, during that series he also opened a cheese shop and cafe in Ramsbottom called - The Mouse Trap.

Man City. A club financed on the back of very dubious human rights violations.

The rest of it all seems to be about this season.
