Just in case anyone thinks there's not really any problem with the state of global environmental degradation at the moment, spend 10 min reading this:

Once the tipping point in people's minds has been overwhelmingly reached, I can see great changes ahead.

Trillions of trees will need to be planted and reflective materials placed in major desert regions and both north and south poles.

I had a walk through Marsh Farm yesterday evening, I noticed a load of trees had been destroyed that were planted at the area near the new shopping centre. It is the youths that are pissing about killing young trees everywhere which is a huge problem, It only takes a couple of minutes for a job or 2 to kill a tree by snapping it or peeling off all the bark, but takes decades for them to grow tall enough to be safe from the yobs.

It is not a recent phenomenon either back in the 80's I remember little yobs killing all the trees on our road.

Even the trees in a cage type of fencing are not safe, although it does help.

As our ancient woods find out from loss of mature trees the increased number of twats that kill by damaging the younger trees means those trees won't be replaced. It is a huge issue, I think they need to plant bigger trees and really punish the bastards that get caught killing trees.

You're right, the council planted 4 young trees on a bit of grass behind St. Vincent's church on Parkside, 2 weeks later they had been snapped in half. Two of them have side shoots, so fingers crossed.

          Bloody morons.

Not so great a philosophy on this occasion..

The future we're currently heading towards is plain as day.

In this case, shouldn’t it be Day with a capital D and many would argue that she wasn’t plain
