Very poor second part of the season.
Also very big spenders for a bottom half team.

He wasn't that decent when we knocked Naaridge out the cup though was he!😀

Unpopular opinion, but I agree with this one. Didn't see a lot of Brighton this year, but what I did see was pretty joyless, turgid football. One thing to do that when you win a decent amount, but they didn't. They only stayed up because Huddersfield and Fulham were comically awful, and Cardiff were robbed of a win against Chelsea. When Glenn Murray is the answer, you're asking the wrong question.

Brighton have a brilliant stadium, decent location - they should look at Bournemouth, who consistently stay up with more ease, playing better football.

Yep.....football is mad, at the start of the season you would have thought that survival in the premier would have been all they were hoping for. Given he got them there and has managed to keep them there, seems to me like he has done a great job.

Kind of the same thing with WBA, they were 4th in the championship when they sacked Darren Moore......madness.

On the face of it it is an absurd reaction.
But we don't know all the details.

I think there's a perception that he's too defensive-minded to ever achieve anything more than a relegation struggle, so they're probably looking for someone who will try to play better football and score more goals.

Tried and tested strategy that has seen West Brom and Stoke quickly get relegated in the past!

The owner has said its about results-by that mentality we would have sacked pleat after keeping us up

"We" did sack Jim Ryan for doing just that under much more difficult circumstances.

Awful to sack the manager who has done a great job keeping the club in the Premiership with limited resources.

Seen alot of them this season. Has been dire, lone striker with no pace, scared to lose, so very defensive. Been wanting them to lose and go down to so we could have played them. They would be relegated if they had stuck with Hughton for next season. Bloom is a very shrewd chairman. Sounds like Potter or Gerrard incoming
