    Hello Hatters.

Given this board is a fount of some splendid knowledge I thought Iíd give it a go.

How much should I be paying to replace a leaky flat roof (single storey) thatís about 1.5m by 5m?

Any suggestions on best products out there to do it also welcome.

Have a word with Colin at CW Home Improvements ( A Hatter). Put a new flat roof on my office and it was done really well. Yours sounds much more straightforward and would be done probably with new boards and single sheet thick rubber with guarantees.

A few years back I had a porch done approx 3-4 square metres, new felt, thick insulation and 10 year guarantee, and was charged £200/250 from memory.

Everest quoted over £1200 when quoting to do it as an extra with windows. (Didnít use them at all)

Joy Roofing Slough - depending on where you are from - they were excellent

Ballpark £50 per square meter plus a bit given that itís a relatively small area and the workmen will be on day rates
