what's the point? so many advances in your family car were developed in F1, from safety to fuel and engine efficiency. i for one and the 170,000+ who were at yesterdays race love this sport and now we have a british driver dominating it is even more fun, so i do not get bored when the football season is finished as i have lots of lovely F1 to watch, and for all you moaning minnies i have a solution, DON'T FUCKING WATCH IT, easy innit?

You didn't need the narrative, just the title would have sufficed

Formula One is an amazing achievement.

Take some of the world's best drivers and its fastest machines and somehow produce a spectacle about as thrilling as watching Tamworth defend a 1-0 lead with their famous parked bus for a couple of hours.

I am astonished you think it is that interesting.

Used to be a big F1 fan and been to many races but I rarely watch it past the dash to the first corner nowadays.

Without the fun of cars flying through the air and landing somewhere completely inaccessible.

                          Agreed.
I used to watch it with my Dad when I was younger with such names as Prost, Senna and Mansell. Used to love it.
Now I wouldn’t go out of my way at all to watch a race.
