Lee Bowyer- I cant understand why Luton have not been beaten in so long????!!!!! Christ almighty is you stupid? Oh yes i just remember that you were involved in a fight in the past with some non white people and you were accused of being racist-prick! We had been unbeaten in a very long team because we have a very good squad and we were bereft of a couple if key players Lua Lua and Hylton. Thick twat

Lee Bowyer remained adamant Luton Town will be promoted at the end of the season despite denting their chances with a 3-1 victory at The Valley.

A Lyle Taylor brace and an Igor Vetokele strike cancelled out Harry Cornick’s first half effort in a superb display that ended the league leaders 28-game unbeaten run and extended the Addicks run to 11 without defeat.

Bowyer, however remained positive that Mick Harford’s side will be playing Championship football in four months despite seeing their lead at the top cut to four points with four games remaining.

“They’re going to go up,” he said.

“We played Luton early on in the season and I thought we were better than them on that day and I couldn’t understand why they’d gone so many games without losing, but I just witnessed why today.

“They are a very, very, very good side.

“They’ve got good players, they’re solid, good energy, move the ball well.

“We pressed really high and fast, and they just popped it round us at times.

“Today there were two good footballing sides, and I could see why Luton have been on that run.

“They’ve got everything and they deserve to group.”

Luton boss Harford was equally as complimentary of Charlton on the day.

“They’re a strong and well drilled,” he said.

“Lee’s got them playing a certain way and second half they put us under pressure, and it was a big test for us.

“You’ve got to give them credit with the way they played.

“You’ve got to say they managed the game well and saw the game out comfortably in all fairness.”
