To be fair, There has obviously been problems in the upstairs area at Oldham for a long time. I would have thought that Scholes would have realised that before he agreed to take the job

According to his statement he was given assurances as to what he had to work with it became clear that was not the case so he left.

What a chance it would have been for him to prove himself as a manager. Instead he can go back and earn easy money in a nice warm sky sports studio.

I suppose if the tools he was promised to do the job never transpired how could he do the job he wanted to do.A brickie needs his bricks.

Hes enough experience in football to have knuckled down and got on with it, especially Oldham being his hometown club.

Didnt see Mick running off in the -30 season.

I come across issues at work all the time and still get the job done.

As an old boy joiner used to say to me on many occasions " never problems, only solutions"

Correct. A brickie without bricks is a plasterer.
