    Deal or no deal

Posted by Nick PBH on 13/3/2019, 20:05:48

So we arent leaving with the TM deal

We arent leaving with no deal on the 29th

We arent in fact leaving at all with no deal

So we are leaving with a deal that we havent made a deal about

    Or

We make a deal without leaving or deal about not leaving which some people will struggle to deal with.

Anyone got a ####ing clue what is going on?

Yep, we're staying in. Worse off than we were, thanks to the 'tards, but in nonetheless.

      Cheers, Jim

My driving's fine. Not a patch on your being an absolute codpiece but still, very much good enough for you not to worry.

Oddly enough, this farcical shenanigans may lead to many of the ERG supporting May's deal. She may get her deal through. We shall see.

Bit late for that. Unless it was all of them plus some others it wouldn't go through anyway. Her deal is dead. no deal is dead. If i was about to go on a European holiday i`d be hanging my money now!

We shall, indeed. I'm still banking on common-sense prevailing but if the referendum has taught me anything it's to never underestimate the capacity for stupidity.

Over 500 members of parliament do no want to leave.

They are ignoring the democratic wishes of the people to meet the own ends. Spoiling tactics of the highest order while the country stagnates and the ordinary persons job security is hanging by a thread.

            Shame on them all.

Job security might have been improved had in the first place "the people" not been invited to voice an opinion on something this complex.

Well, no one has a crystal ball, but most likely outcome is that Parliament will vote to request an extension to A50 tomorrow.

Then the PM will have to decide if she will do as she's told, or not.

If she does, we'll have to see what the EU want in return for an extension, and indeed if they will even agree.

If she doesn't.... things will get REALLY crazy...

One of my managers told me a friend of his family is a Liberal Peer, and that he had told him rather happily we would not be leaving the EU. This was about 2 weeks ago. I have no idea whether it will turn out to be true or not, but apparently this Peer is ITK, either that or he was pi55ed, according to my manager.

voting is dead,it makes no difference if you vote for something as the pigs who have their snouts in the Westminster trough have ignored completely 17.4 million voters who actually are the majority.
                          Disgusting betrayal.

But there was a deal to leave, which the 52% of the electorate at the time voted for, that was rejected. "NOT THAT" seems a popualar answer to..
What did you have in mind when voting to leave
                            NOT THAT
                            What d you propose
                            NOT THAT
Do you want a no deal brexit
                            NOT THAT
Do you want a second vote
                            NOT THAT
If you could have anything what would it be
                            NOT THAT

No one has suggested anything viable, just oppose whatever is put on the table

Fact is corbyn wont agree to any leave deal that isnt his, the ERM wont agree to any leave deal that isnt a no deal. Those that voted leave dont know what they voted for (individually some maybe).

In this case I think parliament has done its job and at least protected us from the rabid leave at all costs element
