    Brexit ( for a change )

Posted by The questioner on 8/11/2018, 16:34:51

I went to an interesting presentation this Morning in which the Editor from the Spectator suggested that even the majority of the Tories who want a hard exit ( maybe 20 wont ) will probably still support TM in a vote as the alternative would probably result in a General Election.
As a Labour voter would you vote against the government even if you believed a soft exit was better than a hard one but it might trigger a GE ?
Could ask Holmer to do a poll I guess....

Personally I think there are some matters which party politics should be put aside for - Brexit is one of those.

Vote for what is best for the UK, not the short term best interests of the Labour Party. A Labour government wonít be able to undo the ill effects of a no deal, and thatís what happens if they all vote against Mayís deal.

        I agree - are you a Labour voter ?
Would be interested in what Crumps , Nags etc would say .

It's patently obvious that the national interest should take priority over party interest, on all sides.

A no-deal exit would be a disaster, but some of the staunch Brexit protagonists seem to want it for their own nefarious purposes.

I agree - do you believe your MP's would vote this way . I hope all parties would but not sure .

                My MP isn't Labour.
