    Curry recommendations?

Posted by Paul on 8/11/2018, 10:28:34

I'm bringing a couple of pals with me to the Plymouth game on Saturday week. They haven't visited for many years and are keen to go out for a curry after the game - so I want to take them somewhere decent.

Whilst I sometimes go to one of the joints near to the ground, whilst the food can be OK they are a bit rudimentary inside and also unlicensed.

Any recommendations for decent curry houses where you can also get a beer? Town centre would be OK, but not too far out..

Promises to be a great day inc 6-0 thrashing of the Ginsters pasty mob!

    Thanks!

You could also get some spicy snacks pre game at one of the sweet centres in Bury Park pre game.
There are a few places that sell mean samosas and pakoras, and some places do a wicked chaat

Papa Js in Wellington Street is a safe bet as is Chillies top of Wellington St across carriageway (Black Horse around corner for a beer) both quite modern curry houses enjoy.

I suppose if you compare the distance between Luton town centre and Dunstable to the distance between, say, Luton and Adelaide (either one) then it isn't too far out at all.
