Has anybody kept a timeline of these other shopping centre objectors?

        Bedford
        St Albans
        Welwyn
        Stevenage

All about a month apart? I'd say good, but predictable, work from Larry and Nick.

The Westgate is about 10 shitty shops - one of which is the Spurs shop. Maybe they ought to think about getting something decent in there before worrying about a development in another county, 20 miles away. However if I ever need a 3 piece suit for 7.50 I will be sure to go in there!

They've wasted their time, there won't be a Spurs Shop at Newlands Park

                Stevenage - A1 corridor
                Newlands - M1 corridor

So...a frivolous objection, end of story!

And so do the developers of Houghton Regis North.

if what we build in our town is going to adversley affect their town then that is their f'ing problem. i'm waiting for the objections from other countries next.
i could never be a diplomat as i would send the letters back with FUCK OFF written across them in red, you are too late to object it's been nearly 2 and a half years.
we all know who is behind this and they can fuck off to, the sooner they are out of our town the better.
                  can you tell i'm angry?

The general chavs that frequent the Westgate centre are not going to travel to aspirational high end retail over 15 miles away!

It's ####ing amazing how much money that individual has made out of property over the years, considering he appears to be both illiterate and extremely stupid.

He's certainly one arrogant tosser, that's for sure.

So they object to Retail at Newlands, but not necessarily at Power Court, which in theory is 2 miles closer to them?.....Un####ing unbelievable......2 and half years down the line.......smell a massive C&R Rat on the loose at the moment.......

                              Really poor.

It's generally empty most of the time now so they can hardly claim Newlands will impact.

The last paragraph talks about the possibility of permission being granted but the building not going ahead. "This will overhang the market and inhibit future development in the wider region." Well if that were to happen (unlikely) surely they would object again so their concerns about future development don't stand up.

What does overhang the market even mean?
Presuming it's not physically hanging over the Arndale Market.
