    Driving courses for trailers

Posted by Phone Pest on 12/6/2018, 18:45:32

Right then you wankers - Mrs Phone Pest needs to take a driving test to allow her to pull a trailer in her car...so I need recommendations for instructors in the Bedford area that do intensive courses followed by the test.

Yeah I know that, I can drive the car with a trailer without a test but she can't and if she doesn't do it I will have to drive her to all her bloody horse events.

I did it the other weekend without even realising. Hooked up a small trailer to the mother in laws car and loaded it with loads of garden waste bound for the tip.

Change in the law for those who passed their Driving Test after 1st Jan 1997 I think (off the top of my head).

            Not sure on the specifics.

I got put through this when i used to deliver plant hire. B+E Licence. Its not just about driving with a trailer, its how to set up the trailer and all the lights etc.

You need to make sure you were below the limit. VOSA will destroy you if you get caught over. Tyres and wheels need to be spot on and beleive it or not, nut indicators on the wheels need to be used.
