    Dan Potts

With interest from three different clubs it is possible he could go before the season starts. Personally I would hate to lose him.

Just saw that too. Major worry, class player. Would love to keep him for another season at least.

Given our policy on player sales they are probably clubs with the financial clout to make an offer that might come close to our valuation.

I would definitely much rather keep him too though.

If he goes would hope it is to one of the teams in a higher division.

He won't extend his contract though. One year left. Club has no choice. Cash in now or lose everything including the motivation of the player.

If Potts goes, is James Justin likely to stay and play left back next season? Or is he pretty much gone already?

He has 3 years left on his contract. IMO he is just as good LB as he is RB so why not? A season playing LB every game will increase his value at least.

I spoke to JJ's dad earlier in the season, he says JJ loves being at Luton.

I also spoke to his dad in the Leaside after one game and he was quite scathing at the fact JJ was led to believe by NJ he would be first choice right back.

players come and go losing a quality young player is a blow, but a good manager and a backing board find ways to over come it

                          A. He has no choice.
                          B. He's a top lad who will revel in the chance of getting regular football.

If he does want to stay I think that could work out quite nicely for us overall as we'd make a bit of money on Potts, not have to replace two full backs in one go and still be all but guaranteed big money on JJ next summer. Also would mean we'd fulfil that new home grown player in squad rule no problem.

But as you say he might not be so happy to stick around after losing his place for the vast majority of last season.

Reported by HITC sports ,who are right up there with the Sun with their transfer speculation.I cannot remember many, if any of their speculation ever materialised ,if so not much .

Hope he stays but if he doesn’t we should get reasonable fee .
Bradley could replace his set piece goals and JJ or Jack Senior get a chance ,or we may even sign another left back .

Senior couldn't get in the squad in league 2, very much doubt he will start in league 1.

If potts does go it will be a big blow for us.
As far as I am concerned he was runner up to shean as player of the season.

                                      That’s controversial. Hylton was surely?

Potts is an above average right back for the level who’s had one good season.

At times he was awful the year before. Credit Jones for bringing the best out of him but he’s replaceable.
