    Couple of things I’ve noticed.

They had a gate of just over 1200 last night.
They’ve won just the one game less than us.

Under the curcumstances, cap has to be doffed IMHO.

I reckon they'll fade off a bit tbh.

      Mansfield will finish 2nd.

You do have to admire them staying in touch with us, especially with our MASSIVE budget.
That 0-2 win at their place is looking a decent result now.

Yeah agreed. I hope we both keep up our winning runs and the title race goes to the wire. Two teams on 90+ pts come May. As long as we are well clear of fourth then the title pressure is minimal really.

I hope .... the title race goes to the wire.

            Why?

Far better to win it with plenty to spare and get the trophy presented at the last home match, surely?

                  About normal for me

Have done three runs so far this year (the last three Sundays) - did about 11½ miles on Sunday but it was hard going - very windy and about half an hour of hail part way through it. Certainly wouldn't have fancied doing another 15 miles !

One Luton fan tipped them each way at 33/1 before the start of the season

Stanley and Wycombe both have a run of piss-easy games coming up. We are doomed

Accrington’s run in is as hard as it gets in this league. After is on the 10th they play two relegation threatened teams. Then the last 7 are all against teams who are currently fighting for top 3/playoffs. Fair play to them though at the moment.

Don't be fooled. Their owner Andy Holt (who makes those ghastly plastic boxes you see in Homebase etc) has chucked a load of money at it. While their overall budget is lower than ours their top earner earns more than our top earner and despite their protestations at having the lowest budget they pay well. Very creditable though to be fair.

I'd also heard that, that - like a certain other club not too far from us in the league - their tales of financial woe were somewhat exaggerated

You mean the one £3k pw "'bayo" (according to that vile scum loving idiot Geoff Doyle)?

Come to thing of it, ne thing that winds me up are people, such as "Doyly", using players' nicknames (and usually getting them wrong mostly) when they've never met the player, just as "Doyly" does in such a 'superior than thou' smarm.
