The football I've witnessed recently against Plymouth, Stevenage and Exeter hasn't suggested we are Barcelona, or that our midfield is stringing more than two pinpoint passes together. |
I think the well worn tactic I've seen of our players turning backwards (Pelly not included and excused this criticism), passing it to our center-backs and then drilling it up field might be well suited to any ploughed field Newport play on.

I would outlaw any passing in our own half, there's too big a risk of losing possession in sensitive areas.
Midfielders will probably see very little of the ball.
