Posted by Adam Joining its lengthy lineup of fright feature programming, New York City’s Two Boots Pioneer Theater (155 East 3rd Street at Avenue A) has announced One Dark & Stormy Night, an evening of short horror films being presented by Fearsmag.com Monday, June 13, beginning at 7 p.m. The lineup includes Adam Barnick’s MAINSTREAM, which will be part of the next FANGORIA’S BLOOD DRIVE DVD; NO TRESPASSING 2: NO EXIT (pictured), Glen Baisley’s companion piece to his upcoming feature FAIRVIEW FALLS; EDGAR A. POE’S ANNABEL LEE, the latest Poe-with-puppets production from George (TATTLE-TALE HEART) Higham; the award-winning QUIET by writer/director Christopher White; Vin Morrone’s BEASTER, in which a zombie Jesus is hunted by Pontius Pilate; NON-ABDUCTEES ANONYMOUS, in which Philip Powell exposes people who want to be kidnapped by aliens; and AN EVENING WITH IVAN GORSKY, about a pool hustler who meets his match, by Joseph Mauceri. That last filmmaker is not the same person as Fearsmag’s Joseph B. Mauceri, who will host the show; many of the filmmakers will be in attendance, and additional trailers and previews of upcoming genre features will be presented as well. Link: fango article
