Sad News: Chris Barry has passed away

Hello friends,
L'N'L's been informed by our friends Hillary Dawn and John Pfeiffer that Chris Barry passed away on Friday, May 5th from complications relating to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Chris was a journalist who covered the Jersey Shore music scene for over 20 years in publications like The Aquarian Weekly, The Atlanticville, Pipeline Magazine, East Coast Rocker, and Upstage among others. He also ran World Beyond Network, an agency representing various NJ artists and venues.
Chris was an original supporter of fledgling L'N'L acts Burning Up White and Trio of Madness, giving them and the label much needed support, advice, and coverage. His friendship, strong personality and stream of conscious monologues when announcing acts at the fabled Broadway Central Cafe, Jimi's, The Brighton, etc, are stuff of legend and will be sorely missed by all.
