Howdy all,
I stopped by Lakeway's newest bike shop today and spoke with Jamie McVaney. His shop is called Capitol Bikes & Outdoor Exchange. It is located on 620 at Cavalier Canyon. Some of you may have seen the sign out front. It is located right next to the warehouse bay where the Old World Furniture place is located.
Jamie wanted everyone to know that he is up and running and getting shipments of new Marin bikes this weekend. Not only that, but he is offering discounts to Lake Travis Cycling members. You might also notice the water coolers out front offering free bottle refills for cyclists. He advertises free coffee to anyone in spandex, so take heed, caffeine hounds. In addition to bikes, he has rows of kayaks in the shop as well for your dual sport needs.
Jamie is working on getting a shop ride going from his place for Wednesdays, so there's another ride option in town now.
