Mirrodin: It's a fairly advanced world, but you'd wear a loincloth if you had five suns too. Scars of Mirrodin is the "return" block.
Alara. Loincloths show up a lot on Jund (basically One Million Years BOn 18th dragons instead of dinosaurs) and Naya (jungle world).
Theros. Greek mythology world. So, yeah.
Amonkhet. Egyptian world, albeit one that, like Mirrodin, has cosmic forces that ensure the bad guy wins.
Ixalan. One of the "take popular requests and blend thoroughly" worlds (akin to Theros and Tarkir), so we have pirate world, conquistador world, and dinosaur world together.
Loincloths also show up in other products. For a while, core set mermen wore them. (Though Magic's Merrill are more anthropomorphic, basically bipedal amphibians with some ichthyic traits.) Some early sets (defined here as the first decade) also use a few loincloths.
Being a fantasy game set on infinite worlds makes loincloths more of a thing.
