I'd love to know how much is spent on Southport from the SMBC gardening/environmental budget every year - The cost of just Lord Street alone must be mega bucks
I bought a live tree one year and planted it in the garden after the festive season was over - It did great for a few years, until my mother-law's dog took a fancy to the tree and cocked it's leg on it a number of times a day for a 2 week period whilst she was visiting. Needless to say the poor tree died and looked exactly like the Lithy tree
