There are several members of the Homm family in Gove County in 1885 through 1889. After 1889 only Henry Homm is left in Gove Co. with his family. There is a George Homm in Gove between 1887 and 1889. I find no record of him after 1889 and can't find him on the 1880 Federal Census either. I suspect he is the brother of Henry Homm. I have located a Homm family in Colorado in 1900 (a widowed mother with six children - one child is named George C. Homm). If you can give me some names of the George & Agnes children perhaps I can find this family for you. The George Homm listed as a Gove County resident for tax purposes in 1887 through 1889 was born about 1854. His wife is listed as Anna and was born about 1858. If this is your Homm family then it matches with the Homm family in Colorado in 1900. Also, I can give you more information on the Henry Homm family if you need it as this family is long-time residents of Gove.
