The William H. Gwin family is in Gove Co. KS in 1910 and appears in the 1910 Federal Census and on the Gove Co. school census. William H. Gwin was born Oct 8, 1864 to Elisha William Gwin and Agnes Jane Masoner. This family is in Platte Co. Missouri in 1880 (name spelled Gwinn). This is a big family. William H. Gwin married Kate Collins in Platte Co. MO on Oct 1, 1885. In 1910 the following children are listed (all born in Missouri): Carrie F. age 19 Ralph age 17 Alta age 12 Robert W. age 7 The school census for 1910 has the following birth dates: (I have found errors in reported birth dates, so there may or may not be errors in these.) Carrie - July 19, 1890 Ralph - December 20, 1892 Alta - February 16, 1898 Robert - November 8, 1902 I don't think this Gwin family was in Gove Co for very long. I found no records prior to 1910.
