Lena Wenke (age 16) married Bernhard Albers (age 25)on 2/2/1870 in Fort Madison, Iowa. Children were Mary Ann (born 11/1870), Theodore, Frank, Bernard, and Agnes. Frank was born in Conception, MO. In 1893 the family came to Angelus, Sheridan Co. They ran a general store and Bernard was the postmaster. Lena and Bernhard are buried in the cemetery of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Angelus, KS.
